SHOP NOTES:
In all 5Th Gen engines, more stock than higher HP units, we have seen the factory pushrods "mushroom" on the ball end that fits into the rocker arm socket. If not upgraded soon enough, the factory hydraulic lifter can fail as we have discovered on the faulty pushrod cylinder. Proper "Ball to Socket" contact must be maintained for oiling of the factory "hydraulic roller lifter". We have seen ZERO cam failures to date on upgraded pushrod engines built in house equipped with the factory lifters.
